Maple Leafs’ Trevor Moore suffers shoulder injury vs. Bruins

Chris Wagner rocked Trevor Moore with a booming hit at the blue line, forcing the Maple Leafs forward to leave the game.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Trevor Moore suffered a shoulder injury in the first period of the team’s game against the Boston Bruins on Friday.

Moore collided with Chris Wagner at the blue line during the game, and went straight to the dressing room soon after. He did not play another shift in the period — it was later announced he would not return to tonight’s game.

After the game, Mike Babcock confirmed that Moore will not travel with the team on the Maple Leafs’ upcoming road trip.

In 20 games this season, the 24-year-old has three goals and five points.
