Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander will miss Friday’s game against the Anaheim Ducks due to illness.
Nylander has bounced back from a disappointing 2018-19 campaign to post a career-high 25 goals this season.
Toronto is also without starting goaltender Frederik Andersen, who will miss Saturday’s game against the Montreal Canadiens as well.
The Maple Leafs will hope for a quick recovery for their two stars, as the team currently sits outside the Eastern Conference playoff picture.
