Milan Lucic tweets photo of ugly cut after game vs. Golden Knights

Edmonton Oilers forward Milan Lucic is thanking his lucky stars after his neck was cut by a skate in Saturday’s game against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Lucic tweeted this closeup photo after the game of his new nasty scar.

“Close call… but ok,” he wrote.

Close call indeed.

As you can see in the video below, the play he was cut on was just a case of bad timing. After Lucic falls and starts sliding, Vegas forward Tomas Nosek jumps to avoid a collision. He gave Lucic a very close shave.

Yikes.
