Minnesota Wild sign defenceman Alex Grant to two-way contract

The Minnesota Wild have signed defenceman Alex Grant on a one-year, two-way contract worth $700,000 in the NHL and $300,000 in the AHL.

Grant, 28, recorded 17 goals and 49 points with the AHL’s Providence Bruins this past season.
