New Edmonton Oilers goaltender Ben Scrivens took to Twitter Thursday night to criticize a reporter who wrote an article about his wife, Jenny.
On Wednesday, Sun Media writer Tony Vasquez-Peddie suggested Jenny Scrivens, a California native, might be the biggest loser of the Oilers-Kings trade.
Vasquez-Peddie used a collection of tweets from Jenny Scrivens to highlight her love of the warmth and comfort of her life in California, while adding, “now that she’s headed back to the Great White North, however, she has to deal with awful things like fall, snow and ice.”
On Thursday night Scrivens, a native of Spruce Grove, Alta., responded on Twitter:
