The new Detroit Red Wings arena will have something that’s the first of its kind.
Little Caesars Arena will feature the world’s largest seamless centre-hung scoreboard system — 5,100 square feet — with around 11 million LEDs.
“Fans seated in the ends of the arena will experience the same size display as those seated on Little Caesars Arena sidelines, an amenity that few other arenas offer today,” Tom Wilson, president and CEO of Olympia Entertainment, told the team website.
Little Caesars Arena is set to open in September as the new home for the Red Wings and NBA’s Pistons.
