Delta Airlines is offering a free flight to New Jersey for New York Rangers’ fans who want to cheer on their team for Game 3.
The 17-minute flight will leave LaGuardia Airport for Newark Airport at 10 a.m. ET Saturday morning, and will only be available to people who already purchased tickets to the game.
The jet to be used for the trip has been branded with the New York Rangers logo.
The free flight includes ground transportation to the arena and fans will have the opportunity to fly with Rangers legend and Hockey Hall of Famer Rod Gilbert and Rangers great Ron Duguay.
It takes approximately 40 minutes to drive from one airport to the other, and approximately 20-to-30 minutes by train.
Once time getting to and from the airports, getting through security, and boarding the plane is factored in, the free flight is the lengthiest option for Rangers fans planning to make the trip.
