The 2016-17 season wasn’t the easiest of campaigns for veteran netminder Henrik Lundqvist. After posting the worst numbers of his career during the regular season – a career-low .910 save percentage and a career-high 2.74 goals against average – many were questioning whether Lundqvist would hold up during the grind of the post-season.
Luckily for the New York Rangers, the Swedish phenom came alive during the playoffs, carrying his club through a tough first-round matchup with Montreal.
