The NHL released the schedule for the 2018-19 season Thursday. Here’s how the 82-game campaigns stack up for each of the seven Canadian teams:
Toronto Maple Leafs
After back-to-back trips to the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Toronto Maple Leafs will look to take the next step in 2018-19. They’ll begin that effort at home against the rival Montreal Canadiens on Oct. 3 at the newly dubbed Scotiabank Arena.

Montreal Canadiens
Coming off a season to forget, the Montreal Canadiens, and everyone in their city, are ready for a fresh start. The Canadiens get their first shot at it on the road against the Maple Leafs. Their first home game comes on Oct. 11 against the Los Angeles Kings.

Ottawa Senators
Similarly coming off a forgetful campaign, and dealing with its fair share of off-season drama, the Ottawa Senators will look to right the ship in 2018-19. They open the 2018-19 campaign at home on Oct. 4 against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Calgary Flames
The Calgary Flames will be looking to return to the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2018-19, and the path back to the post-season starts with a familiar foe. Calgary will open up the season on the road vs. the Vancouver Canucks on Oct. 3.

Edmonton Oilers
Connor McDavid will once again look to lift the Edmonton Oilers back into the post-season after missing the playoffs in 2017-18. That starts with a meeting with former teammate, and new Hart Trophy winner, Taylor Hall and the the New Jersey Devils on Oct. 6.

Vancouver Canucks
For the first time since the 1999-2000 season, the Vancouver Canucks will take the ice next season without Henrik and Daniel Sedin. How will Travis Green’s team respond? We’ll find out during their home-and-home against the Flames, starting on Oct. 3.
