Mark your calendars, hockey fans. The NHL has announced the home openers for the 2019-20 season.
The season will get underway with four games on Wednesday, Oct. 2 with four games, including two all-Canadian matchups as the Toronto Maple Leafs host the Ottawa Senators and the Vancouver Canucks visit the Edmonton Oilers.
The 2019 Stanley Cup champion St. Louis Blues will get the new campaign started by hosting last year’s champs, the Washington Capitals, followed by the first meeting between fierce playoff foes as the Vegas Golden Knights host the San Jose Sharks.
The full 1,271-game regular-season schedule will be released Tuesday.
