The NHL announced that it saw zero positive COVID-19 test among the 4,256 that were administered over the final week of the league’s Phase 3 training camp between July 18-25.
Those tests covered the more than 800 players participating in camp, per the league. In the week prior, July 13-17, the league saw two positive tests out of 6,874 administered.
With all 24 teams, each with 52 total members made up of players and staff, now in the Toronto and Edmonton hub cities, the league said it will continue to test all those in the two secure zones daily.
