The NHL announced schedule changes for its Eastern Conference round robin play, which affects all four teams involved.
The Boston Bruins will now face the Washington Capitals on Sunday, Aug. 9, while the Philadelphia Flyers will face the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday, Aug. 8.
Previously, those matchups were scheduled on opposite days. Start times for the games have yet to be announced.
The NHL’s exhibition schedule, which kicks off July 28, as well as the start times for the first three games of each play-in series were released last week.
On Monday, Sportsnet announced its broadcast schedule for the NHL qualifiers and round robin play.
