NHL fines Bruins’ Marchand, Coyotes’ Cousins $2K for diving

The NHL has fined the Boston BruinsBrad Marchand and the Arizona CoyotesNick Cousins $2,000 each for diving.

Marchand was fined for embellishing a tripping call on March 1 in a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins that he was assessed a penalty for.

Cousins’ incident also took place on March 1 when he was given a penalty for embellishment against the Minnesota Wild.

The money will go towards the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
