NHL Power Rankings: What does the coach say?

Maple Leafs head coach Mike Babcock says he's never coached a kid that young, that good, as Mitch Marner, meanwhile linemates Bozak and JVR have nothing but words of praise for the youngster.

They can build you up or rip you a new one; be your greatest cheerleader or harshest critic; take a bullet for you or fire one at you.

They’re capable of making you skate in the dark or on your scheduled off-day.

They wield so much power over your game — ice time, power-play minutes, linemates — and yet their jobs are usually less secure, their pay often a fraction of yours.

They are the NHL bench bosses, and you can tell a lot about the state of their team by their quotes.

It’s the NHL Power Rankings: What Does the Coach Say? Edition.
