Check out this dirtiness, as Blackhawks forward Joakim Nordstrom hits Coyotes' best defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson from behind.

Chicago Blackhawks forward Joakim Nordstrom received a two-game suspension for boarding Arizona Coyotes defenceman Oliver Ekman-Larsson, the NHL’s Department of Player Safety announced Friday afternoon.

Nordstrom was given a minor penalty for boarding after the incident took place in the third period of Thursday’s game.

The 23-year-old Swedish forward has no goals, two assists, and four penalty minutes in 31 games with Chicago this season.

Nordstrom, who was selected by Chicago in the third round (90th overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft, will forfeit $6,830.82 in salary during the suspension.
