Oilers call up Lander from AHL’s Barons

The Edmonton Oilers recalled centre Anton Lander on Thursday from the AHL’s Oklahoma City Barons.

Lander has appeared in one game this season for the Oilers, playing over 16 minutes and was a minus-two rating.

Through his career, he has played in 95 NHL games, posting eight points and is a minus-24 rating.

In 29 games this year with Oklahoma City, the 23-year-old has nine goals and 22 assists. His 31 points leads the team.

Lander was selected in the second round of the 2009 NHL Draft by Edmonton.
