HC at Noon discussion on the struggling Edmonton Oilers being tied down to their two big long-term contracts, kicking in next season, and banking on this group finding their confidence and turning things around.

Edmonton Oilers goaltender Cam Talbot is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs after suffering an upper-body injury.

Oilers coach Todd McLellan told reporters that Talbot “tweaked” something in Tuesday night’s win over the Arizona Coyotes.

Talbot finished fourth in Vezina voting last season, but has seen his numbers dip to start 2017-18.

The 30-year-old is 10-10-1 with a 3.00 goals-against average and .903 save rate in 22 starts this season.
