Oilers defenceman Adam Larsson to sit out game against Panthers

Ondrej Palat scores twice to help the Tampa Bay Lightning defeat the Edmonton Oilers.

The Edmonton Oilers will be without Adam Larsson for their Wednesday night road contest against the Florida Panthers.

Oilers coach Todd McLellan told reporters Larsson is dealing with a lower-body injury.

Larsson left Tuesday’s 4-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning in the third period. It’s unclear at this time how much time Larsson might miss.

Eric Gryba will take Larsson’s place in the lineup.

The Oilers have won their last seven road games against the Panthers.
