Oilers’ Dillon Simpson makes NHL debut vs. Flyers

Edmonton Oilers defenceman Dillon Simpson made his NHL debut on Thursday as the team visited the Philadelphia Flyers.

The 23-year-old was drafted by the Oilers back in the fourth round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

The Edmonton native has one goal in 12 games played with the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors this season.
