The Edmonton Oilers have released forward Anton Burdasov from his professional tryout, the team announced on Saturday.

The 28-year-old winger joined the Oilers on a PTO on Sept. 18 in the middle of camp after spending the last 10 seasons in Russia’s Kontinental Hockey League, most recently recording 19 goals and 31 points in 50 games for Ufa Salavat Yulayev in 2018-19.

The Oilers play their final game of the pre-season Saturday night in Calgary before the puck drops on Edmonton’s regular season Wednesday at home against the Vancouver Canucks.
