Earlier this week the Edmonton Oilers sent Connor McDavid for second and third opinions on his leg injury while they formulate a recovery plan, sources tell Sportsnet.
It remains unknown, at least publicly, what the exact nature of the injury to his leg is. We do know that a post-game X-ray last Saturday was negative, revealing no fractures.
