Oilers sign centre Riley Sheahan to one-year, $900K deal

The Edmonton Oilers have signed centre Riley Sheahan to a one-year deal worth $900,000, the team announced Thursday.

The team hopes Sheahan, a 27-year-old left-handed shot, will be its third-line centre this season according to Sportsnet’s Mark Spector.

In 82 games split between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Florida Panthers in 2018-19, Sheahan scored nine goals and added 10 assists.
