Oilers sign defenceman Dillon Simpson to one-year deal

The Edmonton Oilers have signed defenceman Dillon Simpson to a one-year deal, the team announced on Sunday.

Simpson, 24, recorded 11 points in 53 games for the Bakersfield Condors, the Oilers’ AHL affiliate, this past season.

The Edmonton native also appeared in three games for the Oilers during the 2016-17 NHL campaign.
