After his four-goal performance in the Ottawa Senators‘ Game 2 win over the New York Rangers in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Jean-Gabriel Pageau likely won’t have to pay for a meal in the nation’s capital for some time.
And thanks to the Wellington Diner, the 24-year-old forward now has a special menu item of his very own to consider.
As reported by NHL.com, the restaurant updated their menu on Sunday with a special brunch feature: “The Pageau 4444.”
The item, a tribute to the Ottawa native’s record-setting performance—which saw him score a hat trick and then add another in overtime to secure a 6–5 win for the Senators—consists of four eggs, four sausages, four pieces of bacon and four pieces of ham, plus home fries, two slices of toast and a single piece of French toast.
It’s a ridiculous amount of food for one person, although if anyone has an excuse for consuming that much at Sunday brunch, it’s Pageau.
The Senators, up 2–0 in the series, will face the Rangers for Game 3 at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET.
