Panthers’ Roberto Luongo helped off ice against Islanders

Watch as Roberto Luongo is injured making a kick save on a Ryan Pulock point shot.

Florida Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo had to be helped off the ice Monday against the New York Islanders.

Luongo went down in the butterfly to make a save on Islanders defenceman Ryan Pulock an appeared to hurt his right side.

The 38-year-old stayed down for a couple minuted before being helped off the ice by the Panthers staff.

He missed the end of last season after undergoing surgery on his hip.
