Panthers sign forward Joel Lowry to one-year contract

The Florida Panthers have signed forward Joel Lowry to a one-year, two-way contract.

Lowry, 27, appeared in 55 games with the AHL’s Springfield Thunderbirds last season. He had 10 goals and 30 points.

The Cornell alum was originally a fifth-round pick by the Los Angeles Kings in 2011. He is the brother of Winnipeg Jets forward Adam Lowry.
