The veteran forward received the warmest of welcomes from fans in San Jose on Sunday night during his first home game with the Sharks since signing a one-year deal to return to the club.
On Monday, he tweeted (via wife Christina’s Twitter account) a message to San Jose faithful to show his gratitude, saying there’s “no where else I want to be.”
Hi, Patrick here. I wanted to take a moment and say Thank You. Thank you to the @SanJoseSharks for the incredible welcome home, and to the fans for welcoming me back. I can’t put into words what it means to me, what you all mean to me. There is no where else I want to be -PM

Marleau looked right at home in teal after spending the past two years with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He score two goals in his season debut with the Sharks on Thursday in Chicago, a special night for the 40-year-old who’s proving he still very much belongs in the pros, and added an assist Sunday at home.
