The Pittsburgh Penguins have activated forward Alex Galchenyuk and defenceman Brian Dumoulin ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Galchenyuk has missed the past nine games with a lower-body injury and has two assists in three games this season.

Dumoulin has also been out of the lineup with a lower-body injury and hasn’t played since Oct. 18. He has three assists in eight games this season.

To make room on the active roster, the Penguins re-assigned forwards Adam Johnson and Joseph Blandisi to the AHL’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Monday.
