Penguins’ Kris Letang week-to-week with lower-body injury

Pittsburgh Penguins defenceman Kris Letang is week-to-week with a lower-body injury, head coach Mike Sullivan announced on Friday.

Letang, 32, left Monday’s game against the Boston Bruins and did not return. The exact nature of the injury is unclear.

The Montreal native has four goals and 12 points in 15 games for the Penguins this season while averaging 25:00 of ice time.
