Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury is OK after taking a skate to the throat Saturday against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The scary moment occurred just two minutes into the game, when Fleury was struck in the neck area by the skate of Maple Leafs forward James van Riemsdyk.
After speaking with trainers, Fleury left the ice for repairs.
Matt Murray stepped in in relief, but not for long — Fleury returned to the game later in the first period to resume his place in the crease.
