Penguins’ Murray gets last laugh against country star Bentley

Pittsburgh Penguins netminder Matt Murray made his name by staying cool as a cucumber while snagging two Stanley Cups before his 24th birthday, but it seems the young champion may have a little more bite than he often shows.

Murray made that clear on Saturday, gifting a signed jersey to country star Dierks Bentley adorned with a savage message: “To Dierks: It’s all your fault.”

It appears the Pittsburgh backstopper hasn’t forgotten his tumultuous experience in Bentley’s town during the Stanley Cup Final, as Murray spent a portion of his time at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena being serenaded by a chorus of accusations that it was, in fact, all his fault.

While it’s unclear who is truly to blame, Bentley took the ribbing in stride, even wearing the signed jersey on stage in front of the Penguins faithful.
