Pittsburgh Penguins winger Patric Hornqvist won’t suit up for the club’s game against the Columbus Blue Jackets Saturday as he deals with a concussion, according to head coach Mike Sullivan.
Pittsburgh takes on the Blue Jackets in the second half of a back-to-back, craving a win after getting just two in their past 12 games.
The club is also currently without starting netminder Matt Murray, defenceman Justin Schultz and centreman Matt Cullen, who are all out long-term.
Hornqvist has nine goals and 15 points through 21 games this season, after posting 29 goals and 49 points last season.
