Penguins to start Tristan Jarry in Game 4 vs. Canadiens

Pittsburgh Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan confirms his starting goalie will be Tristan Jarry for their elimination game 4 against the Montreal Canadiens, says he deserves a ton of credit for how hard he’s worked in practice.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are shaking things up in net as they look to stave off elimination at the hands of the Montreal Canadiens.

Coach Mike Sullivan announced the team has opted to sit two-time Stanley Cup-winning goalie Matt Murray in favour of 2020 NHL all-star Tristan Jarry for Game 4 of the Penguins’ qualifying-round series vs. the Canadiens on Friday.

Murray, 26, is 17th in save percentage (.914) and 16th in goals-against average (2.50) among netminders in the playoffs.
