More Philadelphia Flyers are on their way to Germany, as Philadelphia Flyers’ leading scorer Claude Giroux and veteran Danny Briere have signed with Eisbaren Berlin of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga according to various reports on Twitter.
Agent Pat Brisson confirms Giroux and Briere headed to Berlin. Former Sens assistant Don Jackson is coach and 67’s great Peter Lee is GM.

Giroux and Briere join rugged Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds in Germany, who signed with ETC Crimmitschau in September.
The 24-year-old Giroux is coming off a career year that saw him tally 96 points for the Flyers and lead the team in their wild first-round series victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins in last year’s playoffs. He then had off-season surgery on both wrists, one of which was broken.
Briere, meanwhile, regressed in 2011-12, scoring just 16 goals in a season that saw him endure a 23-game goal scoring drought.
