The Pittsburgh Penguins will be without Olli Maatta for a couple weeks after retroactively placing the defenceman on injured reserve with an unspecified, upper-body injury.
The 20-year-old has nine points in 20 games this season and had missed the previous three games. Maatta missed a couple weeks in November after having a cancerous tumour removed from his thyroid gland.
