The Pittsburgh Penguins re-signed forward Pascal Dupuis to a four-year contract worth $15 million, the team announced late Tuesday.

The deal has an annual salary cap hit of $3.75 million that runs through the 2016-17 campaign.

Dupuis was third on the Pens in goals (20) and points (t-38) last season and his plus-31 rating led the NHL, making him the first Penguins player to accomplish that feat since Ron Francis in 1994-95.

The 34-year-old has been with the Penguins since 2007 after coming over from the Atlanta Thrashers in a trade.
