Nashville Predators forward Filip Forsberg will miss Saturday’s contest against the Carolina Hurricanes with an upper-body injury.
The team added that Forsberg is now listed as day-to-day. The 24-year-old trails only Viktor Arvidsson for the team lead in scoring with 22 goals and 41 points in 52 games this season.
Forsberg had missed two consecutive practices heading into Nashville’s game on Saturday night.
Forsberg was optimistic he’d be able to dress as recently as Saturday morning, but the team ultimately elected to keep him out of the lineup.
