The Nashville Predators care not for the glamorous pre-game ceremonies the Vegas Golden Knights have been putting on since their inception in the league last season.

Unless, that is, they’re the ones showing off their own “Nash Vegas” spirit doing it.

On Tuesday, during Vegas’ first visit to Nashville this season, the Predators’ game ops crew decided to put on a little show of their own to show just what they think of the defending Western Conference champions.

Your eyes do not deceive you that was, in fact, Predators mascot Gnash hitting a man dressed up as a knight over the head with a guitar after said knightly impersonator hammed it up pro wrestling heel style.

Nashville and Vegas take pride in being known as two of the most fun NHL destinations, and now it would appear they’re vying to see who really does throw the bigger party, mocking theatrics and all.

The Predators will visit the Golden Knights on Jan. 23. A little retribution will hopefully be in store.
