Predators’ P.K. Subban day-to-day, could miss next two games

Eric Staal scored a pair of goals to help the Minnesota Wild defeat the Nashville Predators.

The Nashville Predators hit the ice without defenceman P.K. Subban on Saturday night, and it looks like they’ll have to do the same for two more games.

Subban remains day-to-day with an upper-body injury, and according to The Tennessean he did not travel with the club for their brief, two-day road trip during which they’ll face the Philadelphia Flyers and New Jersey Devils on back-to-back nights Monday and Tuesday.

The team did not provide any details as to when and how the injury occurred.

Subban skated a full 25:14 in the Predators’ loss to the Minnesota Wild on Dec. 15, but was absent during the club’s matchup against the Rangers Saturday—another loss. The team will look to avoid a three-game skid Monday night.
