The Nashville Predators have placed forward Viktor Arvidsson on injured reserve with an upper-body injury.
Arvidsson was hurt in Saturday’s game against the Dallas Stars after taking a slash from Stars defenceman Esa Lindell and then crashing hard into the boards late in the third period. You can watch a video of the play at the top of this page.
Saturday’s matchup against Dallas marked Arvidsson’s return from a lower-body injury that kept him out for three games. The 25-year-old has eight goals and 13 points in 13 games this season.
