Nashville Predators prospect Eeli Tolvanen’s Jokerit has been eliminated from the KHL playoffs, freeing the winger to sign with his NHL club.
Tolvanen had one goal in Jokerit’s 4-3 loss to CSKA Moscow, which took the quarterfinal series 4-2.

The 18-year-old is expected to sign his entry-level contract with Nashville some time soon, and could very well be a key contributor during the team’s playoff run.
He had 19 goals and 36 points in 49 games with Jokerit this season, and was a standout performer for Finland at the Pyeongchang Olympics with three goals and nine points in five games.
The Predators selected Tolvanen 30th overall last June in the 2017 NHL Draft.
