NASHVILLE — The Nashville Predators have signed defenceman Adam Pardy to a one-year, two-way contract.

The Predators announced the signing Wednesday along with other moves.

Nashville placed defenceman Anthony Bitetto on injured reserve and sent forward Miikka Salomaki to AHL Milwaukee on a conditioning assignment.

Bitetto has played four games this season. He played the first two games before being placed on injured reserve Oct. 18 with an upper-body injury, and Bitetto got his first point this season on an assist in the first period Tuesday night of a 5-3 win at Colorado. Bitetto left late in the first period with an upper-body injury.

Pardy, 32, has 52 points in 338 NHL games with Calgary, Dallas, Buffalo, Winnipeg and Edmonton. He has played 12 games with AHL Milwaukee this season.<
