Predators sign Pontus Aberg to two-year contract

The Nashville Predators have signed Pontus Aberg to a two-year, $1.3-million contract, the team announced Tuesday.

Aberg had a goal and an assist in 15 games with Nashville as a rookie this past season, and chipped in with two goals and three assists in 16 games during the Predators’ run to the Stanley Cup Final.

The 23-year-old was a second-round pick of the team, 37th overall, in 2012.
