QMJHL to retire Sidney Crosby’s No. 87 across league

Sidney Crosby spoke to the Rimouski crowd about his time in junior as the QMJHL retires his number across the league.

The QMJHL announced that it will retire Sidney Crosby‘s No. 87 across the league starting next year.

Crosby spent two seasons in the QMJHL with the Rimouski Oceanic where he recorded 120 goals and 183 assists in 121 regular-season games. He was eventually selected first overall in the 2005 NHL draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
