Rangers agree to terms with forward Cole Schneider

The New York Rangers have agreed to terms with free agent forward Cole Schneider, the team announced Saturday.

Schneider appeared in 71 AHL games with the Rochester Americans this past season, registering 24 goals and 39 assists. The 63 points tied him for sixth in AHL scoring.

The 26-year-old has appeared in a total of six NHL games over parts of two seasons with the Buffalo Sabres.
