Rangers sign G Marek Mazanec to two-way deal

The New York Rangers have signed goaltender Marek Mazanec to a one-year, two-way contract.

Mazanec has played in 23 games for HC Slovan Bratislava of the KHL this season, posting a 3.40 goals-against average and .899 save rate.

The 26-year-old spent the last four seasons with the Nashville Predators organization split between the AHL and NHL.

He appeared in four games with the Predators last season, sporting an ugly 4.73 goals-against average and .839 save rate.
