The Detroit Red Wings have claimed forward Dmytro Timashov off waivers from the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Timashov, 23, is in his first season with the Maple Leafs after spending three years with the AHL’s Toronto Marlies. He has nine points in 39 games this season but hasn’t played since Feb. 18.

Meanwhile, the Anaheim Ducks also claimed forward Andrew Agozzino from the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Agozzino, 29, has appeared in 16 NHL games — 15 of which have occurred since the calendar flipped to 2020. He also has 33 points in 37 AHL games this season.
