Red Wings’ Datsyuk out versus Devils

DETROIT — Detroit Red Wings centre Pavel Datsyuk will miss Friday night’s game with the New Jersey Devils because of a groin injury, the team announced 30 minutes before faceoff.

Datsyuk, who has five goals and five assists in eight games this season, suffered the injury in a team skate earlier Friday.
