Forwards Mitch Callahan, Landon Ferraro, Tomas Nosek and Teemu Pulkkinen and defencemen Nick Jensen and Alexey Marchenko were assigned to Grand Rapids. The team also released forward Jeff Hoggan and defenceman Aaron Rome from their tryouts.
