Red Wings sign defenceman Brian Lashoff to two-year extension

The Detroit Red Wings have signed veteran defenceman Brian Lashoff to a two-year contract extension.

Lashoff, 28, has 11 assists in 44 AHL games with the Grand Rapid Griffins this season.

In 123 NHL games over five seasons, all with the Red Wings, Lashoff has two goals, 13 points and 57 penalty minutes.
